We have started this special series of Free Online Quiz for those students/ competitive exam aspirants, who are preparing or want to prepare for Food Technology/Agriculture government jobs. There are many students who also wants master degree in the field of Food Technology or Agriculture. There are many opportunities for Food and Agriculture students in government jobs. CFTRI/DFRL- these are food research institutes where Food/ Agricultural graduate may be appointed as Food Analyst, Lab Officer or they may get chance for JRF/SRF or to become scientist. There is lot of work done on microorganisms in CFTRI and DFRL.
Those who want master degree like M. Tech/M.Sc in Food Technology/Agriculture, have to face either GATE or ICAR entrance exam. There are also many private colleges and deemed universities, provides master degree courses in Food Technology/Agriculture. However, they also conduct their own entrance exam and based on that they gives admissions. The syllabus of GATE, ICAR and Private College/University entrance exam have Microbiology as a main subject. Overall Microbiology is an important subject if you are preparing for the Food Technology/Agriculture government jobs.
